Gibbston Valley Winery
Begin your journey at one of Central Otago’s founding wineries. Explore New Zealand’s largest wine cave, learn about the region’s wine history, and enjoy a tasting of their acclaimed wines — a perfect introduction to the region.
Kinross
A favourite stop showcasing wines from multiple boutique producers — including Valli, Coal Pit, and Wild Irishman — as well as their own label. You’ll also have time here to enjoy a lunch at the Kinross Bistro, featuring a range of delicious options from woodfired pizzas to gourmet platters. (Lunch is optional and paid directly on the day.)
Mt Rosa Wines
Set beneath the dramatic Nevis Bluff, Mt Rosa is an owner-operated, boutique winery in a beautifully converted woolshed. Their single-estate wines reflect the spirit of Gibbston. In cooler months, their legendary mulled wine is a guest favourite.
Waitiri Creek Cellar Door
Finish the day at this relaxed cellar door housed in another historic woolshed. Enjoy tastings of their handcrafted wines while soaking in the views of surrounding vineyards and mountains — a perfect end to a flavour-filled journey.
